Posted on 11 April 2005 by Editor

A nature hike yielded an unexpected discovery for a group of Boy Scouts on Saturday. The group was hiking along Wissahickon Creek in Fairmount Park, which is in Philadelphia, when one of the boys thought he saw a manikin floating in the water, after further investigation it was determined that it was a human body.

The Philadelphia police were called, retrieved the body, and transported it to the medical examiner so a cause of death could be determined.
