Boy Scouts host Hurricane Evacuee Fun Day

Posted on 05 September 2005 by Editor

The Caddo Area Council, BSA and the Akela Wahinapay Lodge, OA hosted a morning of fun and games at a Texas Park for evacuees who are in town as a result of the hurricane. They asked for Adult and Youth volunteers to man the event which included softball, fishing, and other games.

editor’s note: If anyone has pictures or an update on how the activity went, I would love to do a followup.
