$12,000 and Still Going – Where will Jack’s Ride for Charity Stop?

Posted on 03 September 2008 by Dan

Scouting News introduced readers to Jack Sinclair and his plan to bike across Australia for charity back in February.

Jack is a 15 year-old Scout from Australia who decided to ride across Australia with his father to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Australia. The duo is planning on setting out on their 2,800 mile journey on September 11, 2008, but has already raised over $12,000 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

The money raised so far has come from individual donors, businesses, and special events. If you’d like to make a donation, you can do so online. Or if you think you’ll be in the Australia area, you can honor Jack and his father’s effort at a celebration dinner on October 11th, 2008.

Way to go and Good Luck on the ride!
