I was unable to get a real answer about the reorganization. The party line, we are switching to a functions based organization, rather than a program based organization.

Which in many ways sounds like a good idea. We will see how it plays out. It should help the organization as a whole, and hopefully develop a better relationship between Cubs-Boys-Venturing. Not that its bad now, however I don't think we work together as well as we should / could.

[...] Dan at Scoutingnews.org has a couple of great org charts showing the new structure of Boy Scouts of America’s paid staff and volunteer network. I’ve never really paid attention at that level so I’m not sure how this is different from what we had before. I’m just waiting to see what this all means, if anything, at the local level. Click on over to see his pretty, and informative, charts.
Awesome. Great chart. Did you ever get follow-up on those questions from July about who's in charge of what aspects of the program?
