Friday Funny: I Followed the Tracks!

Posted on 19 December 2008 by Dan

Welcome to Friday Funny! Every Friday, Scouting News will share a Scouting related joke with our readers. Hopefully you find it just as funny as we did!

An Eagle Scout, a Star Scout, and a Tenderfoot Scout get lost in the woods. The Eagle Scout tells the other two that they should make camp while he finds them something they can cook up for dinner.

About 30 minutes later the Eagle Scout comes back to their base camp dragging a small deer. The other two Scouts are in awe and wanted to know how he found it. The Eagle Scout said, “It was easy, I found some tracks and followed them.”

The next morning, the Star Scout decides to go find them breakfast. He takes off into the woods, finds some tracks and shows back up at their base camp dragging a rabbit. The Tenderfoot Scout is in awe and wanted to know how he found it. The Star Scout said, “It was easy, I found some tracks and followed them.”

That afternoon, it’s the Tenderfoot Scouts turn to go find dinner. He takes off into the woods, two hours latter he comes hobbling back to camp with a broken leg, bruises all over his body, and scratches on his arms.

The Eagle and Star Scout ask “What Happened?”

The Tenderfoot Scout replies, “Just like you said, I found some tracks and followed them, then I got hit by a train.”
