The Boy Scouts of America National Council has relaunched the ScoutParents website. The new version is less interactive and more in line with other National Council websites. The ScoutParents website is now hosted on the same content management system as other National BSA websites.
The new site features a FAQ, Scouting Basics, Scouting Benefits, Scouting With Your Child, Family Fun, Orientation Guide, and a list of resources
Most noticeably missing is the discussion forum that was part of the old ScoutParents website.
This revamp comes approximately three months after the death of Gerald I. Lawhorn, the individual who funded, sponsored, and pioneered the development of ScoutParents.
