I just called my Lowe’s and they said they’ll be doing it, but they have no idea exactly when or what’s involved. They directed me to the national site, but that doesn’t have schedule for local stores, of course. So, I guess it’s just find it where you can. At least the store had heard of it.

They couldn’t confirm the Tuesday thing. I’ll just show up.

I just called my local store (Waterford CT) and the operator told me that the store manager “beleives it’s an all day event/demonstration … next Tuesday (Jan. 13th) starting @ 12:00 (noon)” …
That seems truly odd to me as it’s geared toward 1st thru 4th graders who will be in school then…

We went last night to Lowe’s all they are doing is showing the kit they sell for the dremel and giving you a coupon for it. There is no hands on event or building done. It is a waste of time!

I think this really depends on the store, I heard really good things about a demonstration that I believe was at an Illinois store. Then again the person doing the demonstration was associated with the Scouting program and knew Pinewood Derbies.
