Madison Scouts Host Drum on Parade

Drums on ParadeAnyone that is familiar with Drum & Bugle Corps will recognize that the Madison Scouts are a Drum and Bugle Corp, however they may not know they are also a venturing crew registered with Glacier’s Edge Council, BSA. The Madison Scouts have been a longstanding unit in the Boy Scouts of America.

On Sunday, June 28th, the Madison Durm & Bugle Corps Association is proud to present the 57th Annual Drums on Parade! drum & Bugle corps contest, in Middleton, Wisconsin. This field show will feature some of the best Drum & Bugle Corps entertainment around, including:
– Madison Scouts – Madison, WI
– Phantom Regiment – Rockford, IL
– Blue Stars – La Crosse, WI
– Colts – Dubuque, IA
– Sprit – Jacksonville, AL
– Kilties – Racine, WI
– Pioneer – Milwaukee, WI
– Colt Cadets – Dubuque, IA

The show will feature other Scouts from the Glacier’s Edge Council in the opening flag ceremoney, as score runners, and ticket takers.

Also announced, the Madison Scouts will be performing for all the Scouts and Leaders attending the 2010 National Jamboree by invitation from the National BSA Council.
