Purchased a copy of the new Boy Scout Handbook.

While it seems to be a very good edition, one of the most touted things about it is the website http://www.bsahandbnook.org - WHICH DOES NOT EXIST!

I wonder when it will exit??? Going to that web site redirects you to the BSA National Home Page. Doing a search for the phase "Boy Scout Handbook" returns only 6 results - none of which are for the 12th edition!

As a BSA National Scout Shop Employee, I can inform you of what these versions are.

The 12th Edition of the Boy Scout Handbook will be released on August 1. There are five different versions of the handbook that will be available. The first two types are the spiral and perfect/glue bound books. The third is a mini handbook, which primarily contains all of the rank requirements. The fourth is a library edition, which is a larger, hard bound/hard cover version of the book. The last version is a deluxe set. I am not that aware of what the deluxe set is, only that it has something to do with all of the past Boy Scout Handbooks.

Those are the versions of the book that will be available. Other than what you can see by looking at the surface, I dont know anything else about any of versions of the books as they are shrink wrapped and not allowed to be opened until August 1.

I hope that answers some of your questions.
