It is past time for this. Five years ago, my Wood Badge patrol had two Cub leaders. Both of us chose something to make it easier for new Den Leaders to get started. Mine was a set of meeting helps for Wolf.

I gave up on the Program Helps when I went through a season and figured out that it didn't even finish Bear in nine months. Our pack tried to finish Bear in time for the Blue & Gold banquet in February, then work on arrow points.

This statement is kind of vague: "Roundtable will be largely unaffected, although the seasonal themes used historically will be discontinued in favor of a calendar more tightly aligned with the traditional Scouting calendar." As Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner, I like to plan well in advance. Any indication when the specifics will trickle down to us?

I've had a couple of people ask me where this information came from. It was information that was talked about at the monthly National Innovation Council, which is made up of two Scout Executives from every region.
