I’ve heard of Scouts testing Jail accomodations and hospital procedures before they open, however this is a first. Over 300 Scouts gathered to test the plumbing, by simultaneously flushing all of the toilets, at the Intrust Bank Arena!
The Wichita Eagle has a featured story about the event:
“We’re counting down to one minute,” the announcer said. “Volunteers, make sure all the kids are prepared.”
“Stay back, Jared,” one of the parent volunteers said
“Gavin, back up a little bit,” said another.
“All right, everybody, it’s that time,” the announcer said. “Group A, prepare yourselves. Go ahead and get in front of your toilets.
“10… 9… 8.. 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Flush!”
Water surged through every urinal, toilet and sink in the room. Not a single pipe burst. No toilets overflowed. The room roared with cheers and applause…
