This outstanding training event is organized and staffed through the combined efforts of the sponsoring councils. The multi-council format provides a wide range of experiences and draws on the special expertise of experienced Scouters in Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing.

New courses on commissioning the ideal year of Scouting, effective displays, public speaking and ethnic and religious diversity and others, make the 2007 Five Star University of Scouting an event not to be missed.

All Scouters that desire Supplemental/Advanced training for district and council level work are encouraged to attend. Courses geared to both Commissioners and district/council operations will provide the most up to date training and information in an active and sociable atmosphere. Participants will again be given the opportunity to earn various degrees.

St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin, will once again be the site for the University on Saturday, January 27, 2007. Watch for a catalog with registration materials in the fall. The cost of this event is $25.00 if paid before January 12th, 2007 and $30.00 after January 12th 2007. I was wondering if there was going to be a day care available for cub scouts? He is a Wolf this year. Myself & his mother are interested in going because we are both registered leaders but would be hard with NO daycare.

@Dave – I’ve gone to this 5 Star for a few years now, and I’ve never seen Scouts there. Unless something has changed for this year…

I’m kind of out of the loop this year, I don’t even know who the host Council is this year. If you know who the host Council is you can always contact them directly and ask.
