Boy Scouts Break Food Drive Record

York County, SC – Boy Scouts and Venturers from York District, Palmetto Council break their annual food drive record by collecting 55,000 pounds of food. For one month as part of the Scouting for Food program, Scouts collected food door to door and from businesses as drop-off points. The food helped over 30,000 families though 30 local food banks. The Scouts also collected over 1,000 coats and other clothing for those in need.
