THE FIVE STAR UNIVERSITY OF SCOUTING is a cooperative training venture of four councils serving Wisconsin and parts of Illinois: Glacier’s Edge, Milwaukee County, Potawatomi Area and Southeast Wisconsin.
THE FIVE STAR UNIVERSITY OF SCOUTING was originally developed to provide continuing education for commissioners working at the unit, roundtable, district and council levels, then was expanded to meet the needs of district and council level volunteer Scouters and now invites all Scouters to attend.
Courses are designed for all experience levels, from the first year commissioner or district committee member to the tenured volunteer, with plenty of time to share ideas and experiences, develop new friendships and catch up with old friends.
The event is going to be held at the beautiful St John’s Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin, on Jan 26, 2008.
You can find out more about the program and courses offered by downloading the 2008 Five Star University Flier.
